Washer and Dryer




Dryer Maintenance


  1. Be sure to clean the lint trap after each use.
  2. Pull the lint trap out of the dryer and use a vacuum to clean out the vent.
  3. Place the lint trap back in place.
  4. Remove the air duct from the back of the dryer and clean. You may have to move the dryer in order to perform this step.
  5. Put the air duct back in place and return the dryer to its original position if it was moved.
  6. Remove front access panel and clean with vacuum.
  7. Replace front access panel.

Washer Maintenance


  1. Inspect water hoses for cracks or leaks. Be sure to turn off water intakes before replacing, if needed.
  2. Use a level to make sure your washer is still balanced.
  3. Use a self cleaning tablet on an empty cycle to clean any build-up or debris inside the washer.
  4. If it is a front-loader washer, clean the rim of the door.
