Pool




Winterize Pool


  1. Balance the chemicals in the water 3-7 days prior to closing the pool. Then use a chlorine or non-chlorine shock.
  2. Remove skimmer baskets, wall fittings, cleaners, and ladders from pool.
  3. Lower the water level of the pool below the skimmer for the floating cover.
  4. Drain all pumping, filtering, heating and chlorinating equipment
  5. Lubricate the pump o-rings
  6. Clean the pool of debris with a skim net and a pool vacuum.
  7. Winterize the pool plumbing by blowing out the lines. If the lines are not blown out add pool antifreeze.
  8. Add algaecide to water.
  9. Cover the pool
