Oven, Stove, and Hood Filter Maintenance


  1. Clean the stove top throroughly with a cleaner.
  2. If applicable, remove burners and replace any stained drip bowls. Clean any drip bowls not being replaced.
  3. Remove racks and run a self-cleaning cycle, if available. Otherwise, use an oven cleaner to clean out the inside.
  4. Remove hood filter(s) and replace any non-washable filters.
  5. If the filter is washable, place the filter in a cleaning solution to soak over night. Be sure the cleaning solution is made for hood filters.
  6. Let the filter(s) dry and put back in place.
