Humidifier

Warm Mist Humidifier Maintenance

Unplug power to humidifier and allow the water to cool.
Remove water tank, cooling chamber and removable tray.
Fill the base with white vinegar and let sit for 20 minutes.
Clean the surfaces of the base, cooling chamber, and medicine cup while waiting.
Empty base and wash with water.
Put one teaspoon of bleach into one gallon of water.
Use solution on the base and water tank and let set for 20 minutes.
Empty solution and rinse with water.
Then dry the equipment and put the assembly back together.

Cool Mist Humidifier Maintenance

Unplug power to humidifier and allow the water to cool.
Remove water tank, motor housing and filter.
Fill the base with white vinegar and let sit for 20 minutes.
Clean the interior sufaces while waiting.
Empty base and wash with water.
Put one teaspoon of bleach into one gallon of water.
Use solution on the base and water tank and let set for 20 minutes.
Empty solution and rinse with water.
Clean the filter with water or replace.
Then dry the equipment and put the assembly back together.
